Live Painting Process

Step 1.

Inquire! Please contact me right away with your wedding date. Live painting pricing begins at $2700 for a Saturday live painting in Columbia, SC. I will prepare a custom quote for you based on your wedding date and location.

Step 3.

Jamie will arrive 2-3 hours before the beginning of your painted moment and will continue to paint 3-4 hours while the guests watch, if that works with your itinerary.

Step 4.

The venue, decor and emotion of your event will be captured in oil paint, along with an impression of many of your guests. The wedding couple (or two guests of honor) is given extra detail.

Step 5.

Jamie will have the essence of your painting finished by the end of the evening. She will return it to her studio for additional layers, details, final touch-ups and to dry. Live oil paintings are legacy pieces and should not be rushed. Please allow 2-3 months to receive your artwork.

Step 6.

Turn your one-of-a-kind keepsake into art prints for your family, wedding party, or guests. Thank you notes or holiday cards are also an option. Jamie works with a professional printing company to make high quality reproductions.

Step 2.

Choose your moment! Ceremonies, first dances, happy hours, and dinner receptions are common choices. Give me as much or little detail as you like and let me know what is important to you. A Gallery Finish is available with portrait-like detail.
